Updates.

It has been a chaotic past 2 months, and I know I haven't been able to come on here in a while, so I am going to give you some updates.

I started my very first donation drive! I was aiming to start in October but I guess the world had some other plans for me...I ended up launching the drive in December 2025. I announced this on all social media (Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat) listing the items I would be collecting (leotards, tights, ballet/jazz/tap shoes, hair supplies, warm-up materials, water bottles).

Dance Mixx, a dance studio in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, was kind enough to hold a donation box in their studio for me for 2.5 weeks. In those weeks, the studio, which had once a compeltely empty box, filled it up and overflowed it with items to donate. The studio owners did everything to get the word out and the dancers showed up with many items that I am still counting. The donation box from there has been removed, but I am looking from another place to maybe hold one as I am planning to completely finish the drive in the middle of January, giving people more time to find this project/get the word out.

I also started a GoFundMe for people to donate who may want/wanted to contribute but did not have any physical items. Currently, we have raised $55 on there which has resulted in 3 pairs of tights and 6 leotards which is INCREDIBLE.

I am so grateful for all the support I have recieved with this project throughout. I hope to finish this off on a strong note soon, and I now have some things to keep in mind for our next big project...stay tuned!!
