Where next?

Dance donation drives have brought communities together, supported artists, and funded important projects. But now, the question arises: what should come next? What do you think works best for future dance donation efforts? Where should donations be directed to make the biggest impact?

Understanding what the community values and needs is key to shaping the future of these drives. Movement Without Borders' very first donation drive was a HUGE success and worked out a lot better than I thought it would. But now, I want to hear from you.

What has worked well so far:

• Reaching out to studios to ask for help

• Making sure the donations reach a good location

• Educating others about inclusive dance

• Starting fundraisers to fund donation drives

  
  

Creating new opportunities and strengthening community bonds is my main goal. What do you think has been one of the best steps to achieve this? What do you think could have gone better?

How to decide where donations should go

Choosing the right direction for donations means listening to the community and understanding current challenges. Here are some of the places I have reached out to for the first donation drive...:
